JLPT Study Materials We have prepared the study materials for JLPT Official Practice Workbooks so that you can learn them smoothly during class. So, we would like to share the materials with you for your self-study beforehand. The questions in the Official Practice Workbooks are quite similar to the ones of the actual JLPT. So, it is worth studying to get used to the test format. The English in the study materials is a bit (sometimes very) weird since we translate Japanese into English almost directly (literally) to let you know how the Japanese structure is different from the English one. And there are lot of grammatical mistakes of English since we haven’t asked a native English speaker to check our English yet. So, please forgive us about this. If you're very shakey or don't know any yet - maybe try these kana flashcards or make your own. I didn't use these kana flashcards, but tried to invent stories about the kana to remember them. (e.g. I always thought that と (to) looked like a toe, with the nail sticking up.) Don't buy an electronic dictionary too soon, as you'll rely too much on it. These take the form of a list of Japanese words followed by their English definitions, \ inu - dog, hoshi - star\, etc. I am not Japanese so the Japanese pronunciation is probably a little off, though I tried my best. However the English pronunciation is excellent! :p These files contain all the vocabulary needed for level N5 of the JLPT.
