Microsoft hasn't announced any new flagship Windows 10 smartphones this year, but that doesn't mean that Windows Phone fans don't have any alternatives at their disposal. At least two companies will launch high-end Windows 10 Mobile in the coming months: Acer and HP. Both showcased their Liquid Jade Primo and Elite X3 smartphones at MWC 2016, so if you've been following our news, you already know that. The first to hit shelves, Acer Jade Primo has just received its first promo video, which highlights some of the phone's major features like Continuum for Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. Presented like the perfect productivity tool, the Jade Primo won't come cheap, as the smartphone has been priced at €570 outright. Initially slated for a January release, Acer Jade Primo is now expected to hit selected markets in March. Unfortunately, if you're expecting to be able to get it in the United States, you will be disappointed to hear that the smartphone will only be available in Europe at launch. Dual- SIM support might be available in select markets Specs-wise, Acer's high-end Windows 10 Mobile comes with a 5.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. Furthermore, the smartphone is powered by a 1.8 GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128 GB via micro SD card slot. At the back, there's a 21-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, dual- LED flash and 4 K video recording, whereas in the front there's a secondary 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Acer also announced the Jade Primo will be powered by a non-removable 2,800 m Ah battery, which hasn't been rated by the manufacturer yet.
